A developer's proposal could dramatically alter this view from City Hall. The proposal would raze these 2 bank buildings, and everything else between Moody Street, Charles Street, and Main Street up to the Trinity Church. The initial proposal for a new zoning class permitting a densely occupied 7 story building was denied as out of scale for the area. It remains to be seen what a new scaled down project would look like.
