Relocated from Michigan to Continental Blvd., Merrimack, NH, Involved in assembly and testing of high
quality microwave components.
- 1980 M/A COM Omni Spectra, Inc.
In 1980, Omni Spectra became a subsidiary of M/A-COM, Inc. of
Burlington, Massachusetts, which through
its operating companies is the world's leading producer of microwave components for the defense and
commercial telecommunications markets.
The Merrimack facility houses the Microwave Components Division, Land Mobile Communications Products
Division and the company's corporate headquarters. The company has four operating divisions in New
England and several overseas operations. The New England operations, in addition to the Merrimack
facility include: the Waltham, Mass. Connector Division, Lawrence, Mass. Connector Assembly Plant
and Wallingford, Conn. Cableware Miniature Products. The Merrimack Facility employs 335 people.
