The Atlantic Ocean[Water map]

You'd think saltwater ran in our veins the way the Atlantic used to be our lifeblood. It supplied our food, served as our main supply and trade route, and that was before the concept that beachfront property could fetch a premium. And guess what Cape Cod was named for? Fish, fish, fish, and FISH! Even today, the Sacred Cod presides over the state House of Representatives. No wonder they say politics is a smelly business.

Boston Harbor

For more than 300 romance-filled years, the harbor served as both Boston's gateway and its cesspool. Today, the harbor is still the first thing visitors see when they come to Boston: Logan Airport is right on it, and many planes come in over the water (it only LOOKS like you're gonna do a water landing). And thanks to the MWRA, the harbor is cleaner than it has been in decades - something appreciated by the dolphins and seals that have returned to it. Not to metion anyone else within smelling distance.
