On June 6, 1996 the Secretary of the Army approved a restructuring
of the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Divisions.
The plan, which closed division offices in Honolulu and Chicago,
converted the division office in Waltham, Mass., to district status,
and realigned the districts under the remaining divisions.
